IFR Extra  is pleased to announce that part of its revenue will be used by the Institute of Food Research to fund additional PhD studentships 

IFR Extra works very closely with the Isntitute of Food Research to help deliver its quality fundamantal science for impact with industry and society. IFR Extra is now pleased to be able to support IFR's fundamantal research programme thorough an endwoment to fund PhD studentships.

Starting in 2012 IFR will be able to recruit high calibre research students to the new  IFR Extra Studenships. All research leaders at IFR will be eligible for these 4-years studentships.

When topics have bee identified these studenships will be adverstiesd on the IFR website at www.ifr.ac.uk. Prospective students should follow links from the IFR website and should not approach IFR Extra directly.
