About us
IFR Extra Ltd
is a subsidiary of the
Institute of Food Research
(IFR) based
on the
Norwich Research Park
IFR is internationally recognised for its high quality strategic and applied research in food, diet and health and now we are making this expertise available to small and medium-sized companies in the food industry. We realise that these companies often demand a rapid response and IFR Extra has been set up to ensure this happens.
We will undertake short-term applied research, trouble-shooting and specialist analysis making IFR's expertise available and affordable to all companies. We can also provide access to food experts on a consultancy basis.
IFR Extra
is available to the bigger companies we have worked with before to whom we are now able to offer an extended range of services.
We have our own laboratories and staff but can also access the full range of experts and resources of the Institute and we are able to put together multidisciplinary teams quickly. These teams can be enhanced by expertise and capabilities of our carefully selected partners.
